I Love the name Jervani, but I dont know if its really a boy name? Can it be considered both?
Does Jervani sound ok for a baby boy name?
It sounds like a gay fashion designer name to me.
Reply:If you like it, that is all that should matter! I personally don't like it, but he's not going to be my child....I named my son Kristian...and I'm sure there are people out there that don't like it either...worry about your own preference! Good luck!
Reply:i think its a boy name but what about jevani, or javani.the jer part sounds a bit odd, he will have that name for the rest of his life, on job apps and so on.
Reply:I don't know... sounds like Nirvana and Bon Jovi mixed together but hey it's your decision. Usually names that end in an I are feminine though.
Reply:I have never heard of it but I would guess boy.
Reply:i guess a boy name but please dont do it!!! that child will resent you later on in life.
Reply:i've never heard of it but it sounds like a boy's name to me
Reply:Unfortunately in western society, a name that sounds that "ethnic" would be disadvantaged in the job search world.
Reply:From looking around, there seem to be a few boys with that name. When I first read it in your question, it sounded like a girl's name, but maybe it is better for a boy. I don't like unusual names too much, as they are often a real hassle for the person who has one, but Jervani doesn't sound like a bad name.
Reply:There's a 30% chance that with that name and the right attitude your son could become a famous clothing designer or maybe a chef of some sort. There's also a 70% chance that he'll hate you as soon as he realizes how rediculous his name sounds and that he'll never become anything but a laughing stock at school because you wanted him to be 'individual' or 'special' and 'different' from all the other kids. My suggestion is give him a name that's half normal. Then you can make his middle name Jervani so if he does become famous, he can go by his middle name. Or tell him later that you were thinking of giving him the name 'Jervani'. Then if he wants that name, he can legally change it to Jervani.
To actually answer your question, it does sound like a boys name, well a boy with eith an asexual attitude or homosexual attitude, no offense intended, and who might be involved with some sort of high style industry. I don't really think it sounds too much like a girls name though if at all.
Reply:Please name your child something that means something...
Reply:boys
Reply:i think its a cool name for a boy. i love different names, and thats one i have never heard before!!
Reply:Sounds like he'll be spending much of his time at school running away from the gang who mercilessly picks on him because of his sissy name. The rest of his time will be spent hating you for creating such an avenue for cruelty in his life.
I believe if you sign him up for psychotherapy in advance, you can save some money. Although a belt over the shower rod is always less costly.
Reply:I love It, but me and my husband are also Italian, we plan on naming our daughter that will be here Oct. 3rd. Isabella!! ((CoNgRaTs)) and I hope your son Is big and healthy!! ((May GoD bLeSs))
Reply:I think it's ok, but i like Jovani better. Never met a girl with that name, so it's all boy to me.
Reply:sounds like a boy name to me, it's cute and unique. try Jarvani
