Since i am having a baby is Elliot a good boys name if it is a boy or Cassidy for a gir?

I love Elliot. I'm due in June and I plan on naming my son Elliot after my mom (Ellen) who passed away. Cassidy is a name I used to like. Then, I got tired of it after hearing Kathy Lee go on and on about her daughter Cassidy back when she was on Regis %26amp; KL. I really don't like Destiny... just not my style I guess. If I had a girl, she would have been Ella Louise. Other names I was considering for a girl were Sadie and Isabel.

Since i am having a baby is Elliot a good boys name if it is a boy or Cassidy for a gir?
Elliot is beautiful... I don't really like Cassidy. Destiny is absolutely cheesy and I don't think your daughter would like it when she's older...

I think you should find a name that is original, but sweet and gentle sounding.. Cassidy and Destiny are too.. Harsh sounding to me. I also knew this girl name Cassidy who was a total b i tch, but nevermind that.. Destiny.. Hmm.. I'm not a fan. How about..

Why: It's a pretty good name but it's too common. It isn't a very flashy name and 'think of the child's future. Elliot for a teen. Nu-uh. Teens like rare names. They don't go with Elliot and Jack and that stuff.
