What do you think of the boy name Ender?

I know this person who's middle name is Ender. I personally like it as a first name. What do you think?

nice name to pronounce.. i dont feel anything to dislike you due to this name.. you can keep this name and also a second name.. as your baby grows up it wil have a option to switch to the second name too if he dislikes this name..





but i feel it is cool and the new generation love to be unique and different..

Reply:That's interesting.. The only Ender I've ever heard of was in the Sci-Fi series appropriatly titled "Ender's Game". Personally, I think its a good name as long as you don't have some weird last name to go with it

Reply:If it was someone's middle name, it was probably a last name in THEIR family - it has significance to them. Don't stick your kid with a weirdo name that has nothing to do with his own family background.

Reply:The first thing it makes me think of is the book Ender's game by Orson Scott Card. Not a bad association, really good book. A friend of mine would have probably tried to squeeze this in if she'd had a boy. I am good with using it as a middle name, but I think as a first it might be a little odd. Lucas Ender.
