I like it. but think of it. he will not want to be called august rayne when he is older. i woudln't do both together. im not saying its ugly or anything. i actually really really like it but just not together. I would name him August. But cut out the Rayne part.... either name him august or either name him rayne. they are both really pretty. you and your boyfriend/husband decide. maybe you should ask whether you should name your son august or rayne. they are both gorgeous names and very unique. i love your choosing. just choose one i say.

I have a friend name Kerry and let me tell you, he went through heck because of it....I think you need to reconsider the name August and Rayne....look at it from a childs point!....if you won't take my word for it...go to the play ground and ask about 50 young kids between ages 4-16 what they would think about a boys name August Rayne.....you won't like the anwswers.
Reply:I like it! It's different and I don't think it'd be too embarassing. My 14 yr old brother's name is Hans and he got picked on a lot. But he now likes his name because it's unique. People don't usually remember all the Ryan's and Michael's, but they'll remember an August.
