Would like some honest feedback on our newly chosen boy name?

Hello! I love honesty so feel free to say whatever you feel about the name. We recently found out that our July baby will be a boy, and just this morning we've chosen his name. I was just wanting some real feedback on the name to see what the opinions are on it. The name will be,





Dane Curtis Lastname.

Would like some honest feedback on our newly chosen boy name?
I like the 'dane', but in my honest opinion i dont think curtis is a nice name - mainly coz i associate it with a complete idiot that i am unfortunate enough to know.

Dane is not too common but not unheard of either,Curtis was my older brothers name,may he rest in peace.He was always called by his nick name,Skipper actually.


Curtis Mason is nice too i think,congratulations and good luck!
Reply:I guess it's alright, not something that I would really go with. But I like traditional names, which might make a difference as well. Personally though, I think it sounds alright, it's just not a name that I would choose. The name itself is perfectly fine though, just not my style.
Reply:Not loving the name Dane. Even tho it gets points for being unusual, I dont like the sound of it. I can imagine he'll be asked to repeat his name throughout life. There are definitely better unusual names out there.
Reply:I really love it. not a lot of people tend to use Curtis, they use Connor, Caden and all that trendy crap lol so i really like this. I've always loved the name Dane, reminds me of the comedian Dane Cook.
Reply:I think its a nice different and unique name. I don't like Curtis but that's his middle name and not many people go by their middle name.

Like someone else suggested how about Daniel Curtis?
Reply:My friend had a baby in december, she named him Dane Andrew. I think Dane is plain %26amp; a tad boring.

Reply:it's nice, but kind of plain. I think Daniel Curtis would sound better. Maybe Dane could be his nickname?
