Reply:My favorite boy's name is Gabriel...but you could always name him after a family member that you feel especially close to. Another option, if you want to honor your mother, is to use her maiden name as the baby's name if it works. You can check out the baby name forum on Parents.com for some more great suggestions :o)

Riley and Huey are characters from Boondocks, but I've always liked those names. They're different, but not too different. Matthias is a nice name, it's the French form of Matthew. I've always liked the names Nathan and Nathanial too.

Reply:When I was pregnant, I read many baby name books and ultimately ended up naming my son after close family members I admire. His first name and middle name are after each of his grandfathers.

One book I found helpful:

The Perfect Name by Jeanine Cox

It's more than just another name "dictionary". Offering a variety of exercises it helps you find a more meaningful name (and also helps you understand which combinations to avoid).

You can also use the tools and guides provided here:

http://babyzone.com/babynames/default.as...

There you will find lists of popular names, "cool" names, multicultural names, and baby name generators and inventors to help narrow down your choices according to your likes.

After all my searching, I found my heart told me to choose a name that not only sounded great, but held deeper significance.
