Reply:My best advice would be to google any name and it will take you to numerous sites on baby names. Most have lists in ABC order so you can look across from the names and see the meanings or vice versa. Most also have the option of entering a name and it will search for the meaning. "Kelly" is actually both a female and a male name, although it is used now days for mostly girls. During your grandparents time it was commonly for boys. But anyway, it means "warrior." However, I believe that when used as a male middle name; it does sound wealthy and powerful. Arthur Kelly Last name or Arthur Kelley Last name. Sounds like an emperor or exectutive, doesn't it ?
