Reply:Keep in mind that your baby boy will have to live with his name forever, so anything "super cute" might not be so great when he is at his big job interview at age 27. Also, boys like names that only boys can have, so you might want to stay away from sex-ambiguous names like Taylor, Ashley, Morgan, Micah, and Jordan. If you want something unique, try maybe a random name from the Bible (if you are religious), a very old name, or a name very specific to your heritage (such as if you were Irish, naming your boy Devin.)

Reply:No real name help here, but I wanted to share a funny story:





When I was pregnant we had names picked out the whole time. We didn't know what we were having so we had a name for each. 4 weeks before I was due hubby decided he disliked one of the boys names (lucas) so we switched it to the one I relly wanted anyway (laurence) then a week after that (three weeks from my due date) I was in labor, and he says "I don't like gabriel either." So we started trying to brainstorm another one. I was in labor for two weeks. When I had my son we still hadn't picked out a Gabriel replacement. He came out, I announed we was a boy (my midwife doesn't announce they have you announce) and I started to cry. I said "It's a boy! We have a son! (tears started) We don't have a name for a boy!!!" So my hubby said to pick one, I "pushed him out" so I could name him. So I said "Benjamin! I like Benjamin!" To this day I have no idea where that name came from! lol





I guess there was a few names in my story that might help. Right now I'm in love with Matthew, Andrew, and Sam.
